December Ombudsman's Report - Be Grateful During this Holiday Season

As this year comes to an end, I wanted to write something different. As I was thumbing through a magazine, it dawned on me that if I named all the things that are wrong, I would be here all day. I said to myself, why not end the year by naming what I am grateful for instead, so here goes...
I am grateful the election is over and so are the commercials that went with them.
I am grateful for getting older, not everyone gets this opportunity. Sure, I have aches and pains but that is to be expected.
I am grateful I can see the words I am typing, and I haven’t lost my sight.
